I’ve got a minor problem with cracked heels. It’s minor, because I do try to treat them when I remember.. but I thought I’d share this with you because you guys wear sandals alot, and with your weather, it’s bound to be something common.
Wearing sandals often causes the heel to dry up and crack. Infact, summer is when I find I start getting dry skin on my feet. This is the first time I got cracked heels and I’m finding it really hard to get rid of..
I exfoliate the area and apply moisturising cream about 4 times a week but it doesn’t seem to be enough.
Any other tips?
They say sleeping with socks on will help but my feet are like my body’s thermostat. If they feel hot, so will the rest of me.
get a salicylic acid peel..it works wonders..
also after you exfoliate with the pumice...apply a mix of petroleum jelly and coca butter cream then wear socks..even if its hot..sometimes walking around barefoot also makes the skin on the soles thicker...
yep petroleum jelly works wonders - after bath massage feet with it and put on socks for the day, if you can not during the night, but you have to keep doing this for you to see results
