In January of 2005 we went on a cruise and one of the stops was Cozumel where we did some excellent diving

This year we decided to go back to Cozumel for a whole week instead of for just a day and we spent about 14 hours in the water over the week, unfortunately the camera was a lot crappier this time, but here are some pics from this year none the less. Inshallah, in March of '07 we plan to take a dive trip to Mazatlan and I’ve bought a kickass underwater camera for that trip. Can’t wait.

Looks great! I'm trying to earn my open water NAUI certification. Did you guys go through some kind of formal training for this?

What kind of dive equipment do you own?

I’m a PADI certified rescue diver, I got certified in 1994. My wife is PADI certified for advanced open water, she got certified in 2003.

We own most of the equipment except the tanks which are a pain to travel with and we also don’t own the weight’s or weight belts, again, because weights are a pain to travel with.

NAUI is a good outfit too, if possible, you should definitely take a trip out to the Yucatan area in Mexico, some of the cheapest and best diving in the world.
