Why would it be sold in stores in India? Cows are common place there, and I reckon it would be easy for anyone to get access to it for free, and it would make no economic sense to sell it in stores.
In any case, Im somewhat surprised that UK allows it to be sold for external use, and that there is no ‘ban’ as such on selling it in a food store…just an advisory.

i said i never saw it in any stores in India. you are right there is no need to sell it in stores whilst it’s readily available on the streets for free.
