it’s not for human consumption…it’s for religious purposes. i think some Hindus use it for body massages followed by a good shower. they say it’s got some medicinal properties.

i’ve neither known anyone using it nor seen being sold in any of the stores in India. i think it’s for export only. the exporter definitely wants to cash-in on religious beliefs.

i personally think that the idea is disgusting. UK should stop it’s sale on it’s soil. i assume they are sold only in ethnic stores.
