The hadeeth referred to by the questioner is a saheeh hadeeth, in which it says that some people came to Madeenah and fell sick. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told them to drink the milk and urine of camels, and they recovered and grew fat. In the story it also says that they apostatized and killed the camel-herder, then the Muslims caught them and executed them. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2855) and Muslim (1671).

Using animal fat, poison, organs, skin or something else after due process in medicine is well known.. for instant rubbing medicines that have some of the mentioned elements in it on the body areas affected by sting of some poisonous reptiles and so on...
But using animal urine - cow urine - as soft drink as an alternative to Pepsi or Coca Cola? Happens only in india!

The dean of the Faculty of Medical Science in the Sudanese al-Jazeerah university, Professor Ahmad ‘Abd-Allaah Ahmadaani, has discovered a practical way of using camel’s urine to treat dropsy and swelling in the liver. Its success has been proven in treating those who are affected by these diseases. He said in a seminar organized by the al-Jazeerah University:
The experiment began by giving each patient a daily dose of camel’s urine mixed with camel’s milk to make it palatable. Fifteen days after the beginning of the experiment, the patients’ stomachs grew smaller and went back to their normal size

Yeah as you have rightly mentioned, the usage is purely for medicine.... some very ill people might need it for MEDICINE, I am not here a doctor.

In India the cow urine is supposed to have same "medicinal" properties .... so if they make a "healthy" drink what is the problem ... after all coke and pepsi are nothing but "toxic" drinks ......
Perhaps someone is Pakistan should develop a camel urine drink .... as its medicinal properties have been highlighted by none other then the holy Prophet (PBUH) ......

No I am not aware of properties of camel urine, and I know not a single Muslim in Pakistan who drinks it.
But it does seem that you are quite aware of using cow urine as soft drink.

Disgusting! I call for a thorough investigation of indian products, who knows what they are made of. Cow urine, Bull $hit or who knows...
All Pakistani brothers - if at all - next time you go to an indian restaurant do ask for a certified list of ingredients. And do inform the next food inspector about suspicious indian cuisine.
