Covering head with dupatta

but they dont have dirty thgts. abt the girls head/hari.:bravo:
i mean dont get me wrong, i m not saying stop covering ur head…i really respect the girls who do hijab of BODY AND SOUL..but i just want to knw why are v asked to cover our heads…

Yes they do.

I understood your point. You can’t find what makes men high or hyper. lol

how would you know what are they thinking

btw do you know even thinking about na mahram is haram…
same pardah concept goes for guys as well… they shouldnt dress up so girls are attracted to them… and its a sin to think about a na mahram boy or a girl…

Thanks to the western society … we dont really care about such things :frowning:

Re: Covering head with dupatta

Why are we even wasting time thinking what makes them hyper or high?!
Trust me, it doesnt really matter.

That’s an invisible shuttlecock burqa…lolz

Really is it haram to think about na mahram? I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.

i agree wit u rabia. Allah made Islam for everyone and for every time period. I am not sayin we hijab is bad or anything its great that someone wears a hijab. But if a female going out has her body covered and dressed wit modesty but no hijab, is she still attracting men?bcs men cud be attracted to just te face, or eyes or lips!as of my personal expeirence, my best friend is a hijabi and she dresses modestly and stuff but i see m anny guys being attracted to her! ands in the world of today i dont think more den 5% of men r attracted to hair, now im not talkin about hair being done for hours(highlights, and cuts and blodryed and stuff)lolz but just hair as they r of in their shape. Allah’s main point is MODESTY. and if u preffer to wear hijab dats even better. …if not just dress shamely.
a little note for ppl who pass out notes as a women will not even get the smell of jannah for 500 years for showing her hair…PLZ DONT MAKE ISLAM SO COMPLICATED! ALLAH SAB KA HAI! and he knows bette rof someones intentions

Re: Covering head with dupatta

i live in a country where women stictly abide by the HIJAB but sorry to say that inspite of their being covered in a black robe, they have the best eye-catching, enchanting eye-makeup done and there eyes seem searching. i don't know but the same has been observed by many of my friends and i have also found the opposite gender passing expressions through mere eyes. sorry to say then wut is the use of HIJAB if u use ur eyes or the way u walk attractive? NO OFFENCE but i have myself experienced the same...............and yes there are many who follow HIAJB in its true term but the ratio of the other side of the picture is also noteworthy.

Re: Covering head with dupatta

Its in Surah Nur. I dont quite remember the exact verse though.

Re: Covering head with dupatta

this is what i m talking abt....i m not saying all hijabi girl does this...but i knw too many to not respect the idea.
this girl is wearing a hijab ..i didn't show the face cuz well its not mine.

now isn't this a little too much???

Re: Covering head with dupatta

Yeah, just pick on the extreme-cases and bring them up for discussion.

Here is a bit of advice to all of you: If you want to wear a hijaab, go and do it. If you don't, then it's still your business. Stop this rubbish: "look at this hijaabi, this is too much etc."

Good for you for thinking you know what is appropriate with a hijaab and what is not. Now move on.

Re: Covering head with dupatta

just because a few dont really "observe" hijab "properly", it doesnt mean hijab is not mandatory. I can give you examples of a ton of girls who wear it properly. There are always 2 sides to a coin. Thats not really the point, because it really depends on each individual's perspective. I have a lot of respect for any girl who dresses up modestly - hijabi or not. But if you dont wear hijab atleast admit that yea its still mandatory. What's in the religion will always remain the same, but the way we choose to follow it will ALWAYs vary.

So, how well they "observe" hijab, who are we to judge them. To each their own thing.

Re: Covering head with dupatta

WOW what i find ridiculous is that you guys arguing about chest vs. hair when BOTH should be covered as required by Islam.

well she IS fully covered… the clothes are just a bit tight…

:k:

Re: Covering head with dupatta

I just wanted to say that I have had quite a few men tell me that the beauty of a woman is with her HAIR.

They said this to me because I cover my hair.

im talking about when wearing shalwaar kameez, 24/7 when you are at home, and ur uncles and cousins come over you cover your head?

Re: Covering head with dupatta

lets take a step back... i know what Islam require women to do as far as covering themselves. My questions is... when you are at home, and ur dad/brother/uncle/cousin/FIL/BIL come over you immediately cover your head? How about when you go to family parties, and weddings? Do you cover your head if males are present... ?

Re: Covering head with dupatta

Don’t wear any dupattas at home. Why bother?
