but wont it be so awkward to bring a cousin to a genetic counselor and see what the odds are for your child to get a genetic disease? what if the answer is that yes your child may be affected by a disorder? and the couple likes each other more than just as cousins??? will they not marry? a lot of decisions to be done.

We have to face many awkward moments in life, when you are dealing with these kinds of decisions I would rather face the awkwardness then walk into this blindly, I would highly recommend the embryo testing, because I have first hand witnessed the consequences, the parents would have done anything to go back in time to reverse the situation. Also there are so many love less marriage that if people love each other they should try to find a way around problems to be together.
