That made me chuckle.
More than the Ulema, it’s the Western authorities that need to considerably restrict (impose a ‘soft ban’ if you like) on cousin marriages because 99.9% of the time, one of the cousin partner is imported. I do not like this trend at all.

That is a great suggestion but i know that the moment western govts will do that all hell will break loose and Muslims will start screaming that their religious freedom has been compromised..
