So you got engaged and now want to get to know each other? what if you find traits and attributes completely opposite to what you would have like to see in your spouse? I thought getting to know each other part came first.

You cannot find out much about anyone other than some general things unless you start living with the person.

This stage is fun but please don’t take it as an indicator of knowing each other. That happens after you actually live with someone and nothing will prepare you for it.

Share your routine with him. Send him pics of the food you cook or eat, things you buy etc.
Talk about your likes, dislikes, what excites you, your aspirations, placed you love to visit.
Play online games together etc.

I think for us that have not dated much or at all, especially us that come from traditional families, this exposure to the opposite gender can be a bit nerve racking.
Just the experience of first talking with them on the phone and seeing them in person can be anxiety causing. Practicality just goes out the door for some time.
Some of these guys and their accomplishments can be intimidating.
