It means that in England, Muslims are not in Majority.
Majority = more in numbers
Minority = Less in numbers with compare to others
let's say there is a group of 10 people..
If more than 5 people agree on something and rest disagree then those who agree are in majority and rest are in minority...

If you are writing this in an essay format, start with a dictionary definition of the words Islam, Minority and Faith
Then discuss how these all intertwine - you'll then get your answer and the essay flowing nicely

minority would be the smaller or lesser amount of people for something. for example, there are more christians than muslims in the country so that would make the muslims a minority and the christians a majorty (the larger numbers).
what coursework is this for? most people are doing exams now and coursework was finished and handed in a while back .

Living in a non-Muslim Country can be seen as a test of faith because....................... Islam is not practiced by one and all and is accomodated as the way of life of a minority living under predominantly Christian (C of E) rule

its a question…ur thesis could be reframe broad arena…
first xplain dat no matter wat bottom line is muslims are part of UK society
it really doesnt matter whether they r in maj or min…cuz considering 7/7 incident even 2/3 were destructive.
so its teen problem…maj can not highlight problem of their teen cuz it will affect their credibilty…they will lose investments so they cant highlight the issues of local ppl (irony is question is asking as if only 2 groups exist in UK muslims or non-muslims). so even a small issue related to muslims media ignites.
so its not teen having hard time, its media producing such portrayal of islam. stop pointing islam as hinduism, sikhism, budism, taoism, Zoroastrianism etc. no problems no worries:snooty:
