I heard that “DHL” courier services belong to three brothers whom names ‘Adrian Dalsey’, ‘Larry Hillblom’ and ‘Robert Lynn’. DHL comes from the first letters of the last names of the three brothers, who started this service (delivering mails) on horses.
Do any of use share such story related to our any Pakistani courier service providers, if any.
I don't know about ownership of courier companies in Pakistan, but I heard that Dalda (famous banaspati / cooking oil) was first Dada owned by some family having surname Dada. When it was acquired by Lever, they changed the name to Dalda. L for Lever.
I remember the KFC or McDonald (i guess McDonald) in Pakistan originally owned by a Pakistani living in UAE. When the incident of Denmark's photo occured, the angry mob burned many of his shop without realizing the fact that it wasn't originaly owned by any foreign country but by a Pakistani.
