I know the couple who got married secretly because guy's mother didn't agree to his choice of girl. They did nikkah in court but didn't left their houses (they lived with their parents). After some time guy told his mother..... she cried and created all the drama but eventually had to accept the reality. After sometime she went to girl's house for proposal........ they had nikkah ceremony. Girls family is still unaware of their secret Nikkah.

I think there is nothing Islamically wrong in this situation since the nikah is done with the same person and its not the case of Nikah per Nikah as they call when a nikah is done with a different when a girl is nikahfied to some other guy.

Its just like they were repeating the nikah.

Omg I have a super sad story. So my second cousin fell in love with a maid’s daughter. Obviously his family didn’t approve, but they secretly got nikkahfied anyways and did what a married couple does and 3 months later the girl finds out she is pregnant. So the Guy’s family got the news of the pregnancy, and the mother didn’t accept it regardless and took her son with her after all the “I will kill myself if you don’t leave her blah blah” to give her divorce. They lived in different cities(in Pakistan). They went to give her divorce while she was 5 months pregnant:smack:, she begged em and what not but they didn’t listen to her one bit and the guy being a sore loser didn’t listen to her either. As they handed her the divorce papers and went on their way back to their hometown she kept calling and calling but the mother didn’t let him answer the phone. 5 hours later they heard the news that she committed suicide and died.
Even worse, after her death, the guy’s family completely denied that they wanted to give her divorce and gave a chaliswaan khatam in their house. And they put the blame on the girl’s mother and family that they made her take the pills . I’ve whole heartedly hated their family ever since.
The girl’s mom has been in unstable healthwise ever since.

You are right Ashy2010. They asked to some Maulvi, he told them that it is not wrong as both the parties are same.

Another one I know of. The girl was a non muslim(4 yrs senior to me at school).Fell in love with a muslim guy.With the support of her MIL got married to the muslim guy(without informing her parents).Her parents still don't talk to her and expect the same from her sister.But her sister secretly talks to her.She is a mother of two kids now and very happy.

They should tell their parents,they have taken a big step now they have to take this step to tell their parents what would be the result leave it on fate.
