I have about $1,000 USD to spend. Should I upgrade or I was thinking about buying a MacBook. Which would be better as I will be working with graphics/videos? And I have checked my MB, it will allow me to upgrade memory up to 1 GB, and processor as well as the graphic card. aaho, my MB doesn't have an AGP slot, just 3 PCI slots.

If you really want high performance PC for graphics purpose then just add some few $'s and replace your whole PC with brand new PC, which includes AMD 64 FX processor, genuine motherboard with PCI express slot, you can also upgrade RAM upto 4GB and you will get high performance NVIDIA graphics adaptor on board. Also, anytime later you can install external high performance PCI express graphics card of your choice for better performance.
