Turkey coup: military attempt to seize power from Erdogan as low flying jets and gunfire heard in Ankara and bridges across Bosphorus in Istanbul closed

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Yup Muslim Army Generals if kept out of war, they declare war on their own country...

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Sad state of affairs. Looks like few ships of dollar buckets were delivered recently.

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

^^^

Ardogan actually turned Turkey around...

But few millions in swiss accounts...and military generals can be bought

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

What a sad mess the world has become

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

And when Ardogaan regained control American President decided to side with him...

Earlier they were looking at the development and seems to be happy as the rebelion was controlled by some Gullien guy an exiled leader from Turkey, residing in US...

Turkey and Pakistan are only two strong countries left in Middle east...rest likes of Iraq were destroyed on lies of Tony Blair...as he admitted that he lied to killed one million iraqies ...

Same they did with Libya...Syria...where civil war have killed millions while terrorist organizatiom florished under their supervision and support..

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Sleepless nights ahead for Mian saab :D

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

I’m soo happy the people of Turkey rescued their democratic govt. The way they resisted the tanks and guns is remarkable.

They showed entire world they would prefer to have a man they despise in control rather than men in uniform take illegal charge of their fate.

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

As always a lot of Pakistani "intellects" on social media are making memes as if that failed coup was a US plan.

You think if US wanted it, it would have done by such a small faction of army, illplanned and all that? Or it could ever fail? Its hilarious.

For now US is very happy with Ardogan. They need him to battle IS. Thats why he is even joining hands with Israel.

Who hasnt been happy with him so far is Russia despite a little softness shown by turkey.

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Iam certified Conspiracy Theorist from Shahid Masood college of Conspiracy Theory and Boot Lickers.

When i saw things are getting toward normalization and no Shk Rasheed or Moeed pirzada and Shahid Masood at it...i wrote the above...

Since US took it time to analyze whats going on and that Gullien guy was in US close to Washington...things add up...

Thread was dead...so here comes a new theory...

Bashar ul Assad along with Gen Sessi of Egypt planned it all...since Ardogan was close to ikhwaan...so they want to end the support...

ps: nowadays iam free so can cook as many as i want...irony is kinds of Pirzada, Arshad Sharif, Kalasara cooks them and getsaway and get good money for that as well...

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Lets not consider US as God, they can fail. It could have failed, miscalculated and not have counted such massive support from public. By this I am not suggesting that it was US who planned the failed coup, but just saying US is not 'infallible'.

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Its not about not failing. Its about a lame coup attempt and about american interest. Their interest is not to remove current Turkey administration as there is a long list of "to-do"s. Tayyab is a very close ally of US and for them he took on russia, got their plane down and wut not. Plus right now ISIS is the biggest common enemy.

Remember Ardagan has killed many opponents too. And time after time he blacked out media/internet etc. But again atleast he is running a system. Removing him wouldnt do any good. Thats why US is keeping a blind eye for now like they are doing for KSA. So its just a matter of time.

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

The power of clerics on social media

BD blames Zakir Naik and has banned his peace channel

Turkey blaming Fethullah Gulen for coup

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

This coup was not supported by the senior generals in the army. It was only a faction. This is the reason it failed.

Had the US wanted it, it would have bought those senior generals and in that case, this attempt would not be as botched and ill-planned as it was now.

If it were the US then it would not be considering extraditing Gulen to Turkey.

US would consider extradition request for exiled cleric in Turkey

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

To me it is biggest conspiracy.

Now Ardogan have personally achieved many goals, few for his friend NS in Pakistan.

It is said and believed that Ardogan staged this drama of Coup for following reasons:
1) To divert attention from recent wave of terrorism.

2) To get free hand to re-structure Turk Army...and weaken it so much so that it won't be able to offer any resistance to its enemy.

3) To Defame great Turk Army.

4) To grow biggest national leader after Ata Turk.

5) To help NS in Pakistan so opposition would think twice before staging road agitation.

5a) To prove that NS is Chinese Replica of Ardogan

Edrogan I hear is a religious extremist and has taken turkey backward. Support from the masses appears to show they support an extremist.

The swift rounding up of judges and others after a failed coup in Turkey indicated the government had prepared a list beforehand, the EU commissioner dealing with Turkey’s membership bid, Johannes Hahn, said on Monday.

Following a failed coup attempt on Saturday, Turkish authorities on Sunday rounded up nearly 3,000 suspected military plotters, ranging from top commanders to foot soldiers, and the same number of judges and prosecutors.

“It looks at least as if something has been prepared. The lists are available, which indicates it was prepared and to be used at a certain stage,” Hahn said.

“I’m very concerned. It is exactly what we feared.”

Re: Coup in progress in Turkey

Why would it need planning? Turkish generals could learn it from sisi how he bulldozed people. As long as Ardogan has support, it cannot be a successful coup, does not matter how greatly US can plan it.
I know some would consider SISI coup a successful one. That is the moral standard of liberal's world.
