I am from karachi too and we all say karanchi and parantha (instead of karachi and paratha). i thought maybe blessed is too much from karachi ..

Un’nees pe yaad aya, in jest we always used to read Anees as un’nees and read
un’nees thais na lug jaa’ay aabgeenon ko ..
