Obviously this question is the for ladies, because Pakistani girls don’t smoke
Anyways, ladies could you marry a cigarette smoker? Or are you married to one?
I used to not think much about smoking, always thought it was a bad habit, like many other. Until I had to work with a few people who smoked. Every 2 hours or so is a smoke break. Their clothes stink, cars stink, laptops stinks, and everything they come into contact with stinks. I can’t imagine their poor wives who have to put up with it. I bet the house smells of cigarette smoke too.
And no, I am not some kind of a moralist or something. But hey, if desis get a bad rep for stinking, then I see no reason why smelling of cigarette smoke is considered acceptable.
BTW, any reason why every sales person I run into smokes? Car, computer, suits, whatever, they all seem to smoke.
Hubby doesn't smoke and I don't think I would have married a smoker unless and until he stopped the horrible habit completely. You have brought up great points, I agree with them and also, I am allergic to cig fumes. Besides that, I would hate to expose myself and my kids to second hand smoke.. I wouldn't want them growing up thinking that it's okay to adopt this habit because their father does it.
I have a distant phuppo who is in her 60s and has been puffing away for a while. She lives in Isb.
The answer to your question, a big fat NO. It's disgusting, can't kiss a person who's smoked, unhealthy around children and it just shows that the guy isn't too worried about his health and well-being. He can suffer from lung cancer, emphesima (sp?), throat cancer and all sorts of diseases.
As long as he doesn't smoke in front of me or when I'm around, I think I'd put up with it. However, I'd rather he doesn't smoke or quit it because it does one no good.
