Could you live in a cylinder?
‘Roll It’ is an experiment in low-cost housing. It was designed and built by collaborative teams at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany.
Comprised of three independent cylinders, the unit is a dwelling with a bed/sitting/study area, an exercise ‘room’ and a kitchen. The bathroom facilities will be communal.
It’s very clever and certainly innovative.
