Could you get a better job in Pakistan, with your experience and knowledge, compared to one you have now?

Depends on one's definition of 'better', area of expertise, personal inclinations, prior experience and a willing employer.

^ As I said, depends. If you are a doctor in US, you might not find a 'better' job. If you are a telecom guru in UK, you might find a 'better' job... and so on.

And 'better' would depend on how much financial hit you are willing to take to move to Pakistan, how much you value your lifestyle in the west or in Pakistan, etc.

kakaballi is right. It really depends on what you define as "better". If "better" is mainly defined by your income then I think it's quite unlikely that you'd find a better job in Pk unless it is an expat-assignment.

But if you're talking about career level, job responsibility, etc. then I think there are certain fields like telco and IT where you have a good chance of securing a better position in Pk. There's never a guarantee though.
