Hin33: One thing I forgot to mention about Metformin which is really good diabetes medicine, some folks just take it for anti-aging but the side effects which most of times even doctors don’t mention is that it sucks B12 Vitamin from body, so you have to supplement it with either daily tablet or get B12 shots or with veggies.

When your hubby goes for blood test, make sure to test for vitamin D and B12.

He has vitamin D supplement and will see into B12 too… We are doing pretty well-- has come down to 115 - 125 .. last week he started to feel weak and after discussing with the Endocrinologist - he is on 1 metformin rather than 2 a day.. we are continuing less carb and very little sugar and excersise and ofcourse good ol’ karela juice
