I need some assistance regarding the costs of certain things as quotes that have been recieved seem OTT to me…
(Based in Birmingham, UK)
How much approximately should the following costs (approximate ideas needed so I don’t get ripped off!) If anyone knows or recommends anybody please pm me or mention in thread.
Cost of stage
Cost for make up artist for Valima
Cost for food catering? -( I have been told by an aunty that I should try to see if a Molvi or someone can do the catering as it will be cheaper do they cater for such events?)
I live in birmingham and my other half is from Leicester and I have seen a huge difference in quotes for certain stuff. It all really depends what you want how etc, MKB catering are quiet popular in birmingham, they seem decent priced, food nowdays does cost in the thousands.. makeup look around as diff artists charge diff prices! good luck xxx
Her package was £10,000- which included hall hire, AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING decor and stage, drinks and snacks reception, a three course meal and serving staff.
10,000 is hefty but her stage and decor were honestly stunning and allll organised by the wedding planners so she didnt have to do much.
Her make up cost £300 which included hair and dupatta setting and her makeup was dont by a lady who is not that well known but honestly her makeup matched pakistan standards.

can i see pics of the stage? and decor? in london things are way more expensive than the Midlands- so jealous!
