Actually some of it does make sense.
The 10 pound basmati rice there is about 3-4 dollars cheaper than the one at Desi store. My Indian friends who eat rice on a daily basis save around the price of the card a year just buying rice.
I also used to buy 24 pack V8 cans from Sams for around 10 dollars. That comes out to about 42 cents a can. Even Wal-Mart sell those for 60 and God forbid you walk into a safe way.
Though not all the things there are cheap but if the one you use often are; then it is not a bad deal, especially if the store is in your neighborhood.
