my husband got a scholorship for masters and the scholar ship does not cover the family expenses so i was wondering that how much will be the cost of living of 2 person (me and my five month old daughter) in melbourne?
Well I say the total Estimated Costs would be around A$15,000 to A$ 20,000 …
Depending on what life style you are willing to afford ..
But the good thing is ...
Australia has some of the world's least expensive cities. The cost of living in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth is dramatically less than that of the world's most expensive cities.
Well , If you can share , what items your husband’s scholarship covers ..like Annual tuition fees , (OSHC) , Textbooks, study excursions and study equipment then some body could give you a better estimate ..
We have many down under guppies … They will love you help you out ….
Apologies from my side as I aint from that part of the world
Who is next please ?

u got to be joking mate!
Melbourne is the cheapest city in australia sister
but over all australian living is way expensive then rest of the world
i have lived in perth, sydney and now in canberra
my very close friends live in Melbourne
and i might end up there as well
u need 2000 dollars atleast per month
i live alone in share accommodation and my expense is atleast 1500 dollars per month
in theory u can spend a month in 500-700 dollars
but reality is different,
and u might need few thousand dollars one time move in cost!
