Are high end brands priced really high In general in Dubai?
A mac lipstick that costs usd 15 roughly 1600 pkr cost me 100 aed, around 3000 pkr!! In Pakistan it was available for 2200 pkr, so I am quite upset since I had no idea cosmetic prices were double than US prices :s

Yes, they are! My sister lives in Dubai, and the Sephora there is easily double the prices of here in the US. That's why she does not do any shopping there, she waits until she comes here, which is usually about twice a year

I remember everything in Dubai being more expensive, even the drug store brands were overpriced compared to America. I didn't find the shopping worthy of my money.
