what is the easiest and fastest way to reinstall fresh copies of tcp/ip on a computer with windows xp. Currently, the computer is running but some tcp/ip files are corrupted, if i deselect and deinstall all the network adapater , protocols etc, and after fresh reboot, it simply reinstalls em from the hard drive. is there a way to manualy extract tcp/ip files to some directories?
Re: corrupted tcp/ip files
You shouldn't just deselect it. Uninstall the stack by choosing the "Uninstall" option.
Re: corrupted tcp/ip files
how do you know the TCP/IP files are corrupt?
Did you try installing service packs and/or OS patches from M$?
Re: corrupted tcp/ip files
And then reinstall it ofcourse.
Re: corrupted tcp/ip files
They tried to bribe Furqan.
Re: corrupted tcp/ip files
What they needed to do is offer the bribe in tupperware, that way it would've been microwave safe!!
