There are many who get misguided due to propaganda and in the end, truth looses. Nevertheless, it is a sorry state when initiator of propaganda and supporter of propaganda are both Pakistanis (and not only that, but these people think that they are patriotic too), and propaganda machine, that is media doing the job of misguiding masses because they are paid by corrupts, still they claim and want all to believe that they are very patriotic.
These media people have taken advantage of freedom given to them by present government to spread truth and make masses educated and aware, but these crooks (just like many Pakistani politicians) used that freedom to spread lies and become tool for propaganda by corrupts, so that some in media can earn money from corrupts. Now, if this freedom they got is taken away, they would cry foul. I am not saying that this freedom should be taken away, but it seems that these Media people do not know that this freedom can be taken away by government anytime, if they desire. Same is true about corrupt judiciary that Pakistan has.
Anyhow, here is an article (By Munir Ahmad Baloch) that tells a bit about character and coverage of Media regarding 10 September trip by Nawaz Shareef that ended in NS getting his Ass kicked. Though this article may be an eye opener for some, I am sure that most Pakistanis are so blind and bias, that nothing can open their eyes. Article shows the frustration and disgust that the writer (Munir Ahmad Baloch) felt seeing how media has become tool of corrupts, to spread lies and propagandas for them, just for few dollars paid by corrupts.
[According to Munir Ahmad Baloch, Pakistani electronic media is ‘dahari daar Electronic media’ … and it means … media working for wage (dahari). Please do not confuse that with darhi daar media, that is ‘Newspaper Jasarat’. Behind the darhi and retarded mind, this media ‘Jasarat’ also lies a lot. ‘Jasarat’ is paid by MMA (especially JI) to do propaganda and spread lies :)].

As if the likes of Musharraf, Chowdhries, BB, NS are doing their crimes with understanding that they are not being patriotic? The same thing applies to all Pakistanis whether they are public, beauracrats, politicians, media-men, journaists, MNAs, premier, president or COAS.
Pakistani media are as corrupt as the rest of society, but unlike normal citizens they have a massive platform to please their paymasters. The media has been freed up over the last few years at such a fast rate that our journalists have not been able to keep up. A lot of journalists are still used to receiving “lifafas” from politicians or their interests when there was just the print media. Eventually as more and more good journalists come forward the corrupt one’s and those blatantly biased will exposed, and turfed out.
