During your period is it OK to have a bath cos I heard that you shouldnt. I dont know if its a desi idea or what but it doesnt seem right.

It is necessary to maintain high levels of physical hygiene during the periods and otherwise too.

I've heard that too, but I think it was "no bathing" as in, no soaking in the bathtub. It didn't apply to showers. If it does (in which case - ew), it hasn't stopped me.
