Does anyone have a tried and tested good recipe for cornbread? I don’t want the jalapeno/savory kind, I’m looking for the slightly sweet, almost cake-like kind of yellow cornbread that has an amazing crust… I’ve done a Google search but most of the recipes are savory. Thank you in advance!

My mother used to make it quite a lot using a recipe from her Betty Crocker’s cook book.It used to be a favorite when we were kids.

i used the betty crocker corn muffin/cornbread mix. always comes out great.
