Coriander (dhania) chicken

My sister made this a couple of days ago and it was delicioussss so I just wanted to share with you all… try it, its pretty simple!

4 - 6 boneless breasts or even a small chicken cut into pieces
1 tbsp butter
4 tbsps olive oil
4 cloves of garlic (crushed)
1 tsp turmeric or saffron
Salt and pepper to taste
Sprig of fresh finely chopped dhania (if u dont have that use 2 tsp. of ground coriander)
1/4 lb. of black pitted olives
1 sliced up lemon

Brown the chicken in butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic cloves, spices, and coriander. Cook it for 10-12 minutes, turning the chicken pieces from time to to so that the sauce is divided equally. Stir in enough water to cover (like one cup) and let it simmer over a low flame, adding more water if its necessary until the chicken is tender.

Then, add olives and lemon and cook over a slightly lower heat for 8-10 more minutes, or until sauce is reduced.

Serve it with rice or couscous.

Re: Coriander (dhania) chicken

sounds delicious but one table spoon of saffron is too much

i think few threads of saffron are sufficient
