Yea i think that would be a good option to ask them to show me the colour before it goes for the work on it. Abeek how did u go about describing the colour to them in the first place? Did u take a sample of the colour u wanted? Would u mind sharing pics xx
well i showed them a picture of the colour first and then when it came from the dye i checked on it again.

I think your relatives should invest in a shade card which is available to most cloth dyers in Karachi. They can post that shade card to you via a reputable courier company. It should reach you in 5 days. You can choose the colour on that shade card. For example, I have chosen a peachish shirt with a coral dupatta and a coral Dhaka pajama for my valima. i chose the colour of my shirt and duppata and pajama via the shade card only and the guys making it for me will get it dyed accordingly. :) hope that helps. :) InshaAllah.

whatever you decide, please post a fabric swatch of a good size to your family in pakistan so they can give it to the dyer for reference colour. no confusions or accidents !!
