Yea i think that would be a good option to ask them to show me the colour before it goes for the work on it. Abeek how did u go about describing the colour to them in the first place? Did u take a sample of the colour u wanted? Would u mind sharing pics xx

well i showed them a picture of the colour first and then when it came from the dye i checked on it again.

I think your relatives should invest in a shade card which is available to most cloth dyers in Karachi. They can post that shade card to you via a reputable courier company. It should reach you in 5 days. You can choose the colour on that shade card. For example, I have chosen a peachish shirt with a coral dupatta and a coral Dhaka pajama for my valima. i chose the colour of my shirt and duppata and pajama via the shade card only and the guys making it for me will get it dyed accordingly. hope that helps. InshaAllah.

whatever you decide, please post a fabric swatch of a good size to your family in pakistan so they can give it to the dyer for reference colour. no confusions or accidents !!
