I can’t seem to copy and paste in gmail. There is no option to copy/paste and right-clicking doesn’t seem to work either. Does anyone know?
Re: copy/paste in gmail
It doesn't work with the right click or the edit menu. You have to do it with Ctr C and Ctrl V.
Re: copy/paste in gmail
wow, ok thanks! See I never used the keyboard for copy/paste.
Re: copy/paste in gmail
cat-woman, welcome to the 32-bit application scene (i think it was there in the 16 bit versions as well). :)

for a minute i thought it was a trick question
Re: copy/paste in gmail
I never knew that it doesn't work with the mouse. That's the advantage of having the Ctrl-C Ctrl-V habit. :D
Re: copy/paste in gmail
i never knew about copy/paste in any email....
i guess thats the advantage of not sending useless emails.... :p
Re: copy/paste in gmail
ctrl+c and ctrl+v will become second nature after a few times...
also I think the right click + paste option in gmail works when using the "plain text" interface and not the "rich formatting" interface for the compose box.
Re: copy/paste in gmail
^ That's true, it works when you hit 'reply' and doesn't work when you're composing a new message.
What can I say I like to copy/paste stuff, since I'm constantly interacting with family and need to pass on certain messages and emails. :p
