Well I never said having goals was Haram, what i did say was that chasing dunya to an extent that the quote suggests, a goal that you will not give up on, is not an Islamic statement to make. corrections are welcome to my opinion
Islam teaches us to obtain an Honest, Halal living and not amass fortunes
Islam tells us to amass a fortune for the hereafter, not for this life
Islam encourages us to remain poor, to save from a 500 year extended wait in Jahannum
I think I am the very person that believes in the ‘fodder’ that you are talking about. Really the only way to shift my opinion on this is with Islamic proofs, if you have any please do share.
