Guppies from mississauga. If you went to jumma salat yesterday at coopers masjid (kennedy and coopers) you might remember towards the end of the khutbah there was an announcement made regarding a piece of land that the mosque has been trying to acquire for several years, to build a community center on, but is now being allocated to the Hershey Center for addidional parking space instead. There was supposed to be someone outside the mosque handing out ready made petitions after jumma prayer but i couldnt find anybody as such.
Anybody has any info this? I want to sign that petition too and forward it to city council. Thanks.
I also didn't see anyone taking petition signatures when I came out of the masjid but I think I probably just missed them or maybe those guys were still praying. I think the guy also said you can sign it next week also so I guess I'll just sign it then.
