Curious, which do you guys prefer and why?
Personally, I prefer baking and have had an interest since high school. I feel that baking gives one more room to be creative and find the preparing and decorating bit so much fun! Ironically though, I’m not really into sweets and neither is my husband, so I don’t do it as much as I’d like to.

Cooking. I don’t have to patience for baking and the exact measuring needed lol. I can improvise in cooking, not so much in baking

Cooking. I’ve always felt that cooking allows more flexibility for changes and for making mistakes; you may still be able to salvage the dish should things go awry. Baking, on the other hand, is more precise and unforgiving; little room to make errors.

I would say both.
I like the improvising element in cooking.
But baking is dear to my heart for other reasons.. It kind of calms me down because I don’t need to think about anything else then ..
If I’ve to pick one then I will probably say baking.

I love cooking but I also like to bake. However cooking gives me more pleasure
Baking all the way.I forget my worries when I concentrate on baking. Its soothing. Cooking is just masalay and garmi and tarkay and all that.

I love both, but I’m better at cooking because of the flexibility it allows. Baking brings happiness and pleasure too though…

I prefer baking because it is an exact science, I get it. Cooking is more of an art, it requires more creativity for things to turn out well. Baking can be an art if you get into decorating but I don’t like that aspect as much.
Baking for me too, it is exact and I know what action yields what result. Like how long to beat eggs and so on.

baking main dishes..
shepperds pie, canelloni, pasta bake , pizza and random veg bake…
i am just much beter at dunping a tray in the oven rather than being by the stioe and stiring food in a pan.

Cooking is my passion. It is fun and relaxing (and yummy). I would bake more if I got a better oven.

I really have to be in the mood to bake, usually in the winter months when I am feeling cold and want some comfort food and ‘saikh’ myself in front of the oven

I think I am the baking person .. I like baking more then cooking. For the same reason that Mezhgan mentioned , the decoration ,its awesome and quite therapeutic actually !

I like both, cooking allows me to be more flexible and I can adjust to fit my taste preference more easily, with baking I love the idea but no one is a fan of sweets in my house so unless I have a crowd to feed I’m not very motivated to try it.
