Re: Cooking for love :)

If you make jali huwi roti with love...he will eat it.

Why dont you keep it simple? Like............................daal or chanay or plain rice or something like that?

Re: Cooking for love :)

just get some pitta and heat it nicely, serve it nicely (nice plate, wrapped in a nice cloth......he will appreciate genuine simple efforts instead of a fake 3-course meal.

Re: Cooking for love :)

That might be true with love marriage and for first few weeks. A man got to eat and got to eat good stuff.
So if you cannot cook something nice buy something pre-cooked from some nice restaurant and serve it with love . Remember presentation does not matter for a hungry guy it it the food that matters.

Well then he should get his lazy self to the kitchen and help his wife fix a dinner that will satisfy his appetite.

Chicken is easy and fast. So are daals and other lentils. I can whip up a good hearty sandwich in no time.

Re: Cooking for love :)

Try my quick Chinese like chicken-veg recipe!

200 grams chicken boneless in cubes
One tablespoon ginger garlic paste
400 grams creamed tomatoes or other canned tomatoes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Cook these stuff till chicken is tender.

Then sauté a sliced green pepper, a bunch of spring onion and yellow onion (thickly sliced) for 5 minutes in oil and add to the chicken. And finally add two tablespoon soya sauce. Serve with plain boiled rice.
