Nuggets are the only special kid thing i make for my son. Otherwise, he eats everything that we eat...be it desi or Italian or burgers or paratha.
An easy thing i make for us that everyone enjoys is mac n cheese. Melt some butter, add flour, cook for a bit, add milk and let it thicken. Add tons of cheddar, Gruyere... mix in boiled elbow macaroni. Dump it into an oven-proof dish thats been greased, add Parmesan cheese on top as well as bread crumbs. Bake until the top is light golden.
Re: Cooking for kids
No special thing. He eats whatever is cooked for everyone else except the very spicy dishes, then I make him churri which he enjoys. He's 14 months.
His fave food is
- Churri
- Paratha with achaar
- Anything with chicken
- Anything with pasta
- Potatoe in any form and shape
- Daal with a spoon
- Bite sized roti which he can dip into some salan/gravy
