Mine? Haleel came out purple. I used a pressure cooker to cook it and I do not know how the heck it turned out purple. It was edible…according to me anyway…but my people turned it down and consequently the dish was thrown in the garbage while pizza was ordered instead.
Make sure you have enough water and cook them on medium low heat, if they are sticking, reduce the heat even more or put tawa (if you have one) under the pot.
Made chops ka salan on sun - was really looking forward to it but cooked it too much in the pressure cooker - dont have the patience of standing infront of the cooker for 2/3hrs waiting for the meat to be cooked - anyway half of it turned to mush and its still sitting in the fridge.
Inlaws rejected it but im still gonna eat it with salad - its in the fridge - would be ok wouldnt it?
Do u time your pressure cookerization? I do 5 or 6 minutes for lamb, and 7 -8 minutes for mutton, once the pressure cooker starts making its shhhhh-ing noise. I used to have the mushing problem until i got the timer.
My worst disaster - a HUGE pan of keema aloo, put on the stove, watched a 2 and half hour film, finished film and forgot about it. 1 inch thick black charcoal on the bottom of pan.

I wanted to make fried chicken, I put all the masalas (for marination) on it carefully, after 3 to 4 hours I had the corn flakes and egg to fry it, while frying corn flakes and chicken both got separated and the dish was turned out to be something like "Chicken Masala" :S
