I’m getting marry soon & i’m totally nil in cooking n all stuff like that :(, so i was thinking to buy some nice pakistani cookery shows cds to take with me abroad, so is there any particular show or chef that u recommend me to buy their cds? at the moment im thinking to buy food afternoon with Farah khan & Food eveniing with Rahat. what do u say? does anyone experience trying their recipes? i dont have time to watch t.v cuz of my tough routine so dont know abt any cooking show :frowning:

so plz recommend me some nice chef’s cooking books or cds.

also tell me ur favourite cooking shows, maybe i can search them on net.

a word of advice, cd is not gonna help u when u are cookin at the same time.. its much better to have recipes written down...much faster for you and easy to understand.

maybe u can type some out and put them in a filofax? a binder with plastic sheets so its safe when ure cooking and u can just wipe clean.. thats what i did...

my favourite cook these days is chef zakir... havent found a single fault with any of his recipes!

Recipies alone wont help you. You have to try them out and actually practice.

Rida on Indus Tv is good too.. just please don't trust "Chef" Rahat... her cooking is blah! And when she makes a mess out of sumthing she says "yaad rakhein khanay ka shape zaroori nahin taste zaroori hota hai.." LOL
