Cooker ki seeti

I like it when the cooker’s weight shakes. I like the sound of it. The cooker’s working perfectly fine, just that the weight doesn’t shake anymore. Even if I agitate it it only moves maybe a half a spin and then just gets stuck. Any ideas how I can fix it?

Edit: Oh look, now it’s just shaking away :smack: Still any solution for future?

Re: Cooker ki seeti

It was happening to me as well, first my husband thought we have to change the washer but later tightening the screws on the lock handles did the trick.

Re: Cooker ki seeti

Thank you. I’ll try that.

Wait, I thought this thread was to gather all cooker-and-its-whistle phobes! Anyone else has an irrational fear of it? :frowning:

Re: Cooker ki seeti

Haha  I’m just worried that if it doesn’t shake my cooker will blow up. That’s a not very irrational fear :frowning:

Re: Cooker ki seeti

Hmmm similar thing happened to me… it would start whistling but not shake and I got freaked out it would explode so I would (stupidly) hold the whistle up with a long handled chamcha so the steam could escape… I used to do that for a while… then one day I thought let’s just see what happens. As it started whistling I walked out, shut the door and waited… eventually the steam gathered up and made the weight lift on it’s own! Huzzah!

So moral of the story: have you tried waiting? lol

Re: Cooker ki seeti

Yeah…:bummer: maybe? 10 minutes long enough?
