Re: cook books or recipes off the internet?
I try recipes from most popular websites only. I also use my own judgement , if I think that some ingredients are too much or too less for my taste I would go low or high on them. I was never disappointed , rather I was happy that I tried some of those new things.
Re: cook books or recipes off the internet?
I really like certain websites for recipes esp certain youtube cooks!
Re: cook books or recipes off the internet?
I make minor changes too if im trying a recipe … but at times it just doesnt turn out like i wud expect it to…its tasty but not the taste im looking for ..i dont know if im able to get my point across clearly or not ![]()
at times i read 5-6 recipes of the same thing…from different sources and try out the one i think wud be the best…and take a few stuff from others..maybe thts where im going wrong…![]()
Re: cook books or recipes off the internet?
I do the same . But I will try one recipe which appeal to my sense of taste. I will not mix ingredients of one recipe into other. You might be right about being wrong there. ![]()

Re: cook books or recipes off the internet?
Most of my recipes are from the internet.. but I tend to tweak them as to what ingredients I have on hand / our own desi taste. For example, any main meal recipe that I get off a Western site, I will always add my mums mix masala and a few other spices.. Cuz no offence but their food can be a tad bland otherwise :P xox
