How do I convert Windows Media files into MP3 format? I need it so that these can be put onto a CD and played in any stereo system.
What program to use? How? etc.?

But I dont think they are freewares. There are several others - just google it, if u are lucky u may find freewares too. Or check sourceforge.net :)

this site might help you.. just browse your wav file, select which format you want to convert it to.. and submit it.. it will email you back in few minutes.. pretty neat service
