Salaam all you techno people!!!
Hopefully it’ll be just a quick question but is it possible to convert .XML files in .AVI files???
If so, so would you do it, or is there a particular software that you would recommend?

Re: Converting files
pffffeeeeeeeeeewwww.
Technically its possible to convert or should I say ‘record’ .xml to an AVI. ![]()
The easy way: Open XML files on screen. Pick up a movie camera and start recording
and scroll through all the files at the same time ![]()
The Hardway: No Idea but if there s an easy, there must be a hardway ![]()
Re: Converting files
Sure. You just right click on the file, then click rename. You change
Re: Converting files
This is got to be the question of the century. I bet you Mr gates would be scratching his bald head when asked this question.
Re: Converting files
Sem, can you explain what you are trying to do? I'm sure there's a valid explanation.
Re: Converting files
I think he/she is trying to save some stream embedded in XML. Saving the WEB page means - saving the xml not embedded avi ;)
Sem, u need to explain more what exactly are u doing?
Re: Converting files
sem i believe u wana download copyrighted material :D…or the file u have downloaded is actually directing to that web page..which have nothing to do wid the video u wana download. click on the video itself and then try to save. still if it is saved wid XML extension then u dont have sufficient privilege. ask the admin or hire some hacker to crack the codes. ![]()
Re: Converting files
Great advice Zobia. Bravo
This actually reminds me of a game we used to play in the childhood. We would make circle of 15 to 20 kids and one of kids would whisper something in the next person’s ears. The next person whispers the same thing to the next kid in line. The whispered words would travel thru the enitre circle until the last kid has heard the words. Then s/he would announce the words as he/she heard it. The sentence or the words would change entirely every single time (and I mean every single time) by the time it reached to the last person. It was always funny to hear what the first person actually said and what it became when the last person said it out loud.
Lets see what the next person in this thread will speculate.
In the mean time, if Sem reads it, I would request him/her to please not give it away. This thread becomes funnier after every post and I can’t be the only one getting a kick out of it.
I personally think that s/he is trying to save the world from the horrors of the XML which is expected to take over the world in the future. On a more serious note though, I wonder if she meant Xvid and not XML.
Re: Converting files
^^
…dude look up again the post, do deep dissection n then speculate ![]()
there is big problem in ur scenario…THERE HAS BEEN NO “KANA-POOSI” among the member as ur childhood game. u r assuming dat each one of us read the above post n then randomly answer according to r baseless knowledge.
come out from past n play real game “human psychology” ![]()
he/she is not stupid enough to google for Xvid to AVI convertor
…my bet is on XML.
Re: Converting files
The game was an example and doesn't have to be taken litterally. Your knowledge about XML actually scares me and no, I am not being sarcastic either. The downloaded video is saved as XML if the person downloading it doesn't have admin rights? Wow! this needs to be added to MS knowledgebase database.
Re: Converting files
^^
(k i dont have a knowledge of ny thing…khush) ![]()
Re: Converting files
lol. Ok thankx guys and gurls.
Won't be asking another question on here again!!!!!!!
Yes i download something and apparantly to view it i had to change it from a .XML file extension to .AVI.
But carry on coming up with ideas. I already look like a fool, aur 5/10 posts se kia ho ga!!!
Re: Converting files
/\ Did you try the camera trick I adviced you? :p
I recommend using a stand/tri-pod because its exhausting to keep on filming with the camera in your hand :D
