Re: Convertible car seats
My son is 7 months old but he outgrew his carseat…would cry in it, he’s a big baby mashAllah and so his legs dangled over the edge and he just looked squished in it (we had a Chicco Keyfit 30). We bought an Evenflo Symphony 65 two days ago and I love it and so does my son lol. He’s still rear-facing cos he’s not one year old yet (though he does meet the height and weight for front-facing). It’s comfy, looks very nice, and obvs super-safe. We looked into the Britax seats as well…but felt the Evenflo was a better fit. I would also recommend Chicco NextFit, I believe it’s Chicco’s first convertible car seat. Their car seats are soooo easy to install and use. And the NextFit is extremely soft/nice-looking…I would have gotten that instead of the Evenflo but it wasn’t in stock at the Babies R Us by my house.
Re: Convertible car seats
The Boulevard and Marathon are both great options!
Re: Convertible car seats
^ I second that.
Re: Convertible car seats
we had the chicco keyfit and switched to the graco nautilus.
Re: Convertible car seats
OP, how old/big is your baby? Depending on his/her size, it may be uncomfortable for them. We have the Britax and love it but again, every baby is different. I would recommend taking your baby to the store and have him/her try the different seats, see which one seems most comfortable. Make a big deal about it and get him/her excited about it, “This is BABY’s NEW seat” etc. If you make them part of the process, it makes them take ownership of it.
Finally, don’t cheap out, invest in a good seat, your child will be in this seat for years and it won’t just stay in the car, we’ve taken our car seat out and used it as her seat on a plane and any subsequent rental cars when we travel so make sure it’s durable.
Re: Convertible car seats
