I refused to let my wife take any pills, injections, implants, devices etc etc. Simply too harmful (potentially) & it messes your whole system up.
I believe men should take responsibility on the contraceptive front.
Condoms it is - safe & easy to use - and dont listen to ‘oh, it doesnt feel the same with them on’ - they are really cheaper than before. I buy the myself - if you feel embarassed, just go to a slightly out of town store where there are no Pak staff! Cheapest places to buy in UK - Savers (£3 for 12) or Home Bargains (£1.49 for 12)
You can get them for free from family planning clinics, but I avoid them because its full of Paks, Indians, Bengalis & Eastern European gypsies - all with 23 kids each!!!
I find a pack of 12 lasts me a year
