A matte powder that's a few shades darker than your skin tone.

As ashiii mentioned, the Sleek contour kit is pretty popular...it comes with a contour and highlight powder and it's available in 3 different shades.

wow i see, so besides sleek contour kit, theres no specific product made for contouring? like you can apply darker shade of matt blush or some i dont know darker toned concelars?!?!?!

What is your budget?

Macs Harmony is good - also make sure you have a good brush, and blend well.

Use highlighter on the tops of your cheeks to finish off the look.

Mac did have a limited edition contouring powder out in 2009, which is literally a face powder but a few shades darker then ur normal skin tone, I have the Mac one and the sleek one and I actually prefer the sleek one. And it only costs something like £5.99

Also some people use a darker concealer to contour

has anyone heard of sleek makeup? u can buy it from superdrugs in the UK. I brought their contouring kit a few days back and its awesome. I have a mac one and I have to say I prefer the sleek one it has a dark shade for contouring and a lighter shimmery colour to use as a highlighter. its usually about £5.99 but there’s a special offer at the moment for £3.99

Budget isnt a problem, i know it will last me for atleast 2years! not gona be using it everyday.

any dark brown matt blusher or shade is a contouring shade ,all you have to do is blend it well.

I use MAC's sculpting powder. The color is called "shadester". It's basically a dark brown matte powder. For best results, use it with a contouring brush. Hope this helps :)

I haven’t tried the Sleek kit but I love NARS’ Laguna. It’s not exactly ideal for contouring b/c it’s not red-based but rather green-based so it’s good for adding warmth and bronzing but on my skin tone it can double as a conturing powder and it’s amazing! I use a small brush like the MAC 109. If NARS might be something you’re interested in, there is this NARS kit that has a blush, bronzer and highlighter

I love the zipper kit, but I haven’t used it yet b/c I have these products in full-size but I can see this being perfect for vacations etc.
