This is so blatant, its not even funny. They are passing laws to counter the exact things they were guilty of, thus making those actions acceptable.
Im surprised they have not yet passed a legislation allowing Zardari to keep his 60 million.

The bill was already introduced by N$ in 1997.

Ironically, the bill is similar to what Nawaz Sharif had as prime minister introduced in 1997 during his clash with then chief justice Sajjad Ali Shah.

Had GS discussed it then, it would have not be any different than how we see it today. Governments will come and go, but the law of the land should not be tempered with to accomodate everyone’s whims.
