I got a pair of contacts last summer that last up to a year; however, I hardly used’em. I don’t really feel like going for an eye examination and getting another pair.
Could it be bad for my eyes to continue wearing them? If not, then I don’t feel like getting another pair for another year or at least for another 6 months.
Re: Contacts that last up to a year…
oh man…
i got mine in 01 and i still wear them occasionally to parties…took me three months to figure out why my eyes started watering everytime i put em on… the solution had expired last year
mine are just colored tho, not for sight.
if urs are for ur eyesight, better re check than to have them numbers drop even more.
Re: Contacts that last up to a year...
Mine are for eyesight and they do stress out my eyes a little bit. I'll have'em changed (in the next 6 months), insha'Allah.
Expired solution reminds me how once I didn't clean my hands properly after having extra hot chicken wings and removed my contacts. The next time I put'em on, my eyes burned for a while and I kept tearing before the effect went away. :p
Re: Contacts that last up to a year…
extended-wear contacts a bad idea. I have been told by numerous optometrists that wearing the same pair for longer duration increases the chances of eye-infections, and other eye related diseases..
I use the contacts that last for a month, and after that period, in the garbage they go..
Re: Contacts that last up to a year...
wearing them 4 along time will affect ur eyes and could scrath them 2!
