Hello,

Anyone know where I can order contact lenses without prescription in US? I cannot afford an eye exam right now and yes I am that broke.

I believe its illegal in the US.

You can damage your eyes using the wrong lens.

I second that. Get some glasses instead off of some supermarket kiosk.

do u currntly wear contacts? do u have an older prescription? if so u can order from 1800contacts.com they hardly bother to check if you provide up to date info on your eye exams.

u can order them online from many websites , i just recently got them of a website and they are totally fine and fantastic and were also a good deal. however i am in the UK

dude, I skipped one year of eye exams and kept ordering contacts. all i needed was the brand and the prescription info on the contact lens case.

never had an issue

Just placed an order through 1800-contacts using a two year old prescription. Let's see...

My eye doctor just gave me a sample for free, so I ended up canceling my order with 1800 contacts.

I feel icky sticking something in my eye. Can they cut your eye or the pupils if inserted improperly?

Uhm then how are you going to pay for the contacts if you can’t afford an eye exam? :konfused:

I get my lenses from a place in midtown Manhattan, colored ones cost $45 for 3 pairs (6 lenses) and clear cost $24… since i hav insurance, i just go to the health center in my neighborhood and get the eye xam… but the place I go to has deals, get an eye exam and the lenses/frames/glasses will cost u a certain amount, etc etc
