Sister has been told not to wear lenses while shes expecting…is this true? are there any side effects to wearing lenses while expecting? shes in her 8th month now mashallah…

apparently the shape of your eye changes during pregnancy, so the contacts might irritate the eye. I'd imagine in the 8th monh it's not going to make a difference.

I have never heard anything like this before...but yes if she is already 8 mths into it..it shouldn't effect her...

I also heard about it but I still wear them and so far they never irritate me.

I have never heard of this. I wore mine the entire 9 months and nothing happened alhamdullilah.
