I wonder if there is any consumer council in Pakistan, or an organization, a govt department, where people go fill their complaints against things that happen to them, or the frauds or all the things like that.
Like i rented a portion through an agent, and the portion has hell lot of problems in it, and the landlord keeps promising that he;ll come and dicsuss them with me and other two portion people, but he never shows up, never fixes the problems and since i’m a girl alone the other two portion neighbors trying to put the repair on me, and being not very nice. plus i was promised for the car space from both the land lord and the agent but turns out it was told to other two on first come first take basis. i believe i am paying for it! the gas bill is tossed under my door saying they don;t really use gas, but i do cooking?? water bill on me saying they use it only to wash face in the morning..?? i wonder if there’s a hidden pool in my portion which i don;t know.
and many other things, headaches i must say, the only time they’ve been very nice on me was when they requested that i do not tell the tax department that i am on rent here, instead i tell then, i’m the family, and no portion is rented out. same thing was requested by my previous landlord. and he was not very nice after that too.
Can anyone tell me what i can do about these things? can i ask my money back and leave, which they probably won’t give since the contract is for one year.
Any suggestion, any help, please!!
