I know someone who has a need for 2 high level resources to support the Retail side of XXXX Energy for a project that is due to be taken off shore. These are senior level consultants who have experience converting functional requirements to high level technical specifications in order to send to offshore resources for development. Web – Application Designer 3-5 years
Required Skills:
Technical writing
Programming: Java (J2SE/J2EE), JavaScript, XML/XSLT, Web Services
Web Application & Portal: Tomcat, Sun Java Servers, Apache, MS IIS, and Tibco
Preferred Skills:
Document Web Content Management (WCM) - including Site Delivery Services (SDS)/Site Caching Services
(SCS) setup and config
Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server, JDBC/ODBC and PL/SQL
Networks and Protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP, SFTP and WAN/LAN
Proxy and Cache Servers: Netscape, Apache and MS Proxy Server
OS: Unix Solaris, HP-UX, BSD
Scope
Resource should be able to take functional specs and write a technical spec to be review by a Reliant technical lead on the Web Custom Development team. Once approved that resource should be able to complete the coding according to the approved technical spec. Additionally, prior to handing the code over a complete unit test should have been preformed and documented.
